Tasks
- Chair overall committee discussions
- Maintain WFDF version of the rules of overall competitions
- Develop and implement eligibility rules
- Develop and implement sanctioned event formats, schedules and seeding
- Chair sanctioned event players meeting and tournament rules committee
- Handle disabled athlete issues
- The Overall Committee shall address such issues as may affect participants in overall disc sports and oversee the world championship competitions in each of the individual disc sports, which shall be held in accordance with policies established by the Congress. (by-laws)
- Bids for such world championships shall be solicited and approved by the Overall Committee or a subcommittee designated for such purpose, subject to the approval of the Congress. (by-laws)
- The Overall Committee shall also have responsibility for maintaining world records, and for proposing revisions to the standards for such world records. (by-laws)
