Philippines’ Teams Find Success at AOBUC 2024

Teams from the Philippines dominated the final standings at the WFDF 2024 Asian Oceanic Beach Ultimate Championships (AOBUC), taking the top spot via decisive wins in every division they competed in — Open, Women, and Mixed. Their scores for the Finals were 13-8 over the Japan National team in Open, 13-6 over Darumasan from Japan in Women, and 12-9 over India’s National team in Mixed. Gold for the Masters Mixed division went to the Australian Masters Mixed National team in a 13-9 win over Re-Roar from Japan. AOBUC 2024 was a WFDF Continental event hosted in Shirahama, Japan from 12-16 June and included 39 teams from 12 National Federations. The next Asian Oceanic Continental Event will be the 2025 Asia Oceanic Ultimate & Guts Championships, event details are still being finalized.
