The WFDF Athletes’ Commission, established in 2012, serves to represent the perspective of athletes across all Flying Disc disciplines to the WFDF board. Currently made up of nine athletes from around the world, the Commission has openings for three elected members to represent Ultimate for the term of 2024 to 2028, with the fourth highest vote-getter finishing out the remaining term of a vacated seat on the Commission from 2024-2026.
A call for nominations went out in July, and the following individuals have been put forward to fill the vacancies:

- Luis Felipe Cely Morales (PAN)
- Claire Chastain (USA)
- Maria Fernanda Galindo Palencia (COL)
- Allan Poghisyo Lemtudo (KEN)
- Elisa Pursiainen (FIN)
- Irene Scazzieri (ITA)
Elections will be held during the 2024 World Ultimate Championships from 31 August to 7 September. Results will be announced on 11 September. Candidate profiles and additional information are available on the WFDF website.

Additional positions representing Disc Golf and other Flying Disc disciplines are being added to the Commission, with open nominations and elections to be held later this year. The chair of the Commission, self-selected by the Commission members, serves on the WFDF board.
