WFDF has opened nominations for its 2024 elections, inviting committed candidates to apply for leadership positions across various roles. Complete nominations must be received by the Nominating Committee by November 10, 2024. The target date for the start of the elections is November 15, 2024, with a targeted end date of December 15, 2024. Results should be announced by December 31, 2024, subject to confirmation of acceptance by elected candidates. The positions are open for election for 4-year terms commencing on January 1, 2025, and concluding on December 31, 2028.

The following positions are open for election to four (4) year terms to the Board of Directors and the Ultimate Committee. All terms will commence on January 1, 2025 and conclude on December 31, 2028.

Summary of the Election Policy:
- Election Policy: The Nominating Committee will conduct the election according to the most recent WFDF Election Policy 12.0, located on the WFDF website.
- Nominating Committee: The Nominating Committee for the election will be (pending Board of Directors approval):
- Chair: WFDF Secretary General, Volker Bernardi
- Administrator: WFDF Director of Membership Services and Sports Development, Dillon Richardson
- Scrutineers (2): Two (2) additional members of the Committee are currently being recruited to complete the role of Scrutineer.
- If you are interested in serving as a Scrutineer on the Nominating Committee, please email the Chair and Administrator at [email protected] by November 5, 2024.
- Nomination Procedure: Persons interested in applying as candidates are required to complete the Nomination Form in full by the deadline and submit a letter of endorsement from a Member of their country of origin or country of residence (if more than one [1] year).
- Election Procedure: The election will be conducted online via a voting form using Single Transferable Vote methodology. Eligible Members (National and Organizational) will be sent a link to the voting form directly as per the outlined key dates.
- Only Members in Good Standing may vote in the elections. For a Member to be in Good Standing for the purposes of the elections, the Member must have completed their current Annual Census, paid its Member Dues by the outline deadline, and not have any open Events/Championships invoices overdue sixty (60) days.

The World Flying Disc Federation is the international sports federation responsible for world governance of flying disc (frisbee) sports, including Ultimate, Beach Ultimate, Disc Golf, Freestyle, Guts and Overall Events.
