The World Flying Disc Federation is seeking an intern for a six month remote/virtual role beginning late this month. This unpaid internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working directly with the WFDF President The intern will contribute to analytical work on WFDF’s broadcast and social media activities and assist in reviewing and improving WFDF’s online content, including the website and other public-facing materials.
The position will begin in late March 2025 and extend approximately six months through September 2025, with an expected time commitment of around 10-15 hours per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain international sports governance experience, develop research and analytical skills, and contribute to the growth of a globally recognized sports federation.

Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical research on WFDF’s broadcast and social media activity, assessing reach, engagement, and effectiveness of media coverage.
- Review, revise, and update content on the WFDF website to ensure it is up-to-date, accurate and clear.
- Assist in the development and refinement of WFDF’s public-facing materials, including reports, promotional content, and internal documents.
- Provide general support to the WFDF President on various strategic initiatives as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Educational Background:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a master’s program in sports management, sports business, or a related field, OR
- A recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in the sports industry.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent written communication skills and native/near-native fluency in English.
- Strong analytical and research abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with flying disc sports.
