The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) is proud to highlight the crucial role its long-standing partnership with Discraft plays in fulfilling its mission to develop Flying Disc sports globally.
The collaboration with Discraft allows WFDF to provide thousands of high-quality, official discs, to new and developing communities, directly addressing the primary barrier of equipment access.
In 2025, the program supported more than 40 countries, including key development regions like:
- Pan-America: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
- Africa: Burundi, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
- Asia-Oceania: Guam, Indonesia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan and Vietnam
- Europe: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Lithuania and Türkiye.
The success of this impact has been possible due to the crucial, long-term support from Discraft, which has served as a WFDF Partner and Official Ultimate Disc Supplier since 2015.
Discraft generously contributes the discs for various Disc Disciplines that are distributed through development initiatives, evolving from the original “Disc Missionary Program.”
“The Discraft partnership is indispensable to our mission,” said Robert “Nob” Rauch, WFDF President. “The Disc Support Program is a clear example of how we leverage collaboration to make a truly equitable and worldwide impact. By providing the fundamental equipment, we are directly supporting grassroots players and leadership across the five continents to start new programs, train new coaches, and spread the Spirit of the Game to their communities. This enables our over 122 National Federations to reach their full potential.”
Pad Timmons, Discraft Managing Director, added, “Discraft has proudly supported the efforts of WFDF for over 30 years, and we are equally proud to contribute our discs to this program. This initiative is about more than just equipment; it’s about giving new communities the tangible starting point they need to organize and sustain their own grassroots development, bringing the spirit of Flying Disc Sports to every corner of the globe.”
Support the Growth of Flying Disc Sports
In addition to development discs, WFDF manages an annual process of providing development grants to worthy projects in developing countries. Through various programs and projects, WFDF supports creating sustainable opportunities for new players and organizations, empowering community leaders and coaches with technical education, ensuring programming is accessible by reducing barriers, and providing access to discs and equipment. WFDF aims to support all participants and communities in experiencing the joy of Flying Disc sports and Spirit of the Game to not only be active and healthy but also personally develop to help make our world a better place!
