The World Under-24 Ultimate Championships represent the premier international competition for emerging elite Ultimate players, showcasing the next generation of talent from across the global Flying Disc community. The event is open exclusively to national teams representing WFDF member National Federations.

Organized in close partnership with the Japan Flying Disc Association (JFDA), a founding and long-standing member of WFDF, the championship will bring together the world’s top Under-24 Ultimate athletes for eight days of international competition.

A formal Information Bulletin and Official Invitation To Register for the event will be distributed to eligible National Federations in due course. National Federations in good standing within WFDF will be invited to apply for team participation. Interested athletes should contact their respective National Federation directly regarding team selection procedures and qualification requirements.

“I am always excited to see the next generation of talent being showcased at our WU24 Championships,” stated WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch. “We saw what a fantastic host Kamisu was during AOUC last year, and we look forward to returning for another outstanding event.”

Haruyoshi Saito, President, Japan Flying Disc Association (JFDA), commented that “It is a great honor for us to welcome the Flying Disc community again to Kamisu City. This world-class event highlights the spirit and connection that lies at the heart of Flying Disc, and we are proud to host such a meaningful gathering on home soil. We look forward to seeing the passion of the players and the strength of the community shine throughout the week.”

The World Under-24 Ultimate Championships provide an important bridge between junior and senior international competition, offering developing athletes the opportunity to compete at the highest level while representing their countries on the world stage.
