The first World Champions of the WFDF 2026 World Masters Ultimate Club Championships (WMUCC) were crowned on Friday afternoon in Nottingham, United Kingdom, as the Great Grand Masters Open, Great Grand Masters Women’s and Great Grand Masters Mixed divisions reached their conclusion.
In the Great Grand Masters Mixed Final, (3) Endless Sunset GGMX [USA] defeated (5) Babymaker [USA] 15–8 to become the 2026 World Champions in the division.
In the Great Grand Masters Open Final, (1) Surly GGM [USA] defeated (2) Johnny Cashed [USA] 15–9 to claim the world title.
In the Great Grand Masters Women’s Final a thrilling game saw (6) Vintage [CAN] narrowly defeated (2) Nor’Easter [USA] 12–11 to give Canada the Gold Medal.
Attention Turns to the Grand Masters Finals With the first three world titles now decided, attention now turns to Friday evening, where the Grand Masters World Champions will be crowned.
The day’s showcase event will be the 20:00 GMT floodlit Grand Masters Mixed World Championship Final, while the Grand Masters Open and Grand Masters Women’s Finals will also determine the next world champions before the championship community comes together for the official 2026 WMUCC Championship Party in the Tournament Village.
