After five days of exciting competition, the WFDF 2026 World Junior Ultimate Championships (WJUC) in Logroño, Spain, now enter the knockout stage, with quarterfinals set across the Open, Women’s, and Mixed divisions on Thursday.

Forty-seven national teams from 26 countries have battled through pool play and power pools to earn their place in the championship brackets. With the field now reduced to the final eight in each division, every game becomes win-or-go-home as the race for the 2026 World Junior Ultimate Championship titles reaches its decisive stage.

Canada is the only unbeaten team remaining in the Open Division after completing a perfect 7-0 record through pool play. In the Mixed Division, defending champions USA and Canada both advanced without defeat, while Italy are the last unbeaten side in the Women’s Division after securing the top spot in Pool A with a dramatic one-point victory over France.
