Foundational governance framework strengthens regional leadership and expands continental support.

The All Africa Flying Disc Federation (AAFDF) announced the ratification of its federation bylaws. This important governance milestone establishes a formal framework that enables the AAFDF to lead regional sport development and better support its Member Nation Federations across the continent.

AAFDF is the continental governing body for Flying Disc Sports in Africa under the World Flying Disc Federation. Established in 2015, the AAFDF is dedicated to the promotion, development and administration of Flying Disc Disciplines, fostering community and equitable opportunities for participants across the continent. The AAFDF currently represents 27 Member National Federations across the continent, from Burundi to Zimbabwe.

“Ratifying our bylaws is a historic moment for AAFDF and Flying Disc Sports in Africa and a crucial step for our strategic growth,” said Ronny Ochoro, President of the AAFDF. “With the Board’s and WFDF’s support, we now have the administrative foundation to represent and support the Member National Federations and the continent.”

“We want to support our membership in continuing to develop the sport, directly impacting lives, fostering inclusive communities, and creating safe spaces for participants of all backgrounds,” added Ochoro.
