The third day of competition at the WFDF 2026 World Ultimate Club Championships (WUCC) brought another full day of action in Limerick, with important results across all three divisions and the Women’s Division completing pool play ahead of Tuesday’s crossover rounds.

In the Open Division, BFD La Fotta defeated GOAT in an early matchup between leading Italian and Canadian clubs, while New York’s PoNY overcame Australia’s Sunder. France’s Tchac also came through a tight contest against Japan’s Nomadic Tribe, taking the victory on universe point. Later in the day, Freezzz Beezzz from Belgium defeated Chevron Action Flash, Great Britain, while Japan’s Technicolor picked up an important victory over New Zealand’s Ōtākaro

The Women’s Division produced some of the closest games of the day. Ellipsis from Australia defeated JAKA, France, on universe point, breaking to take the win in a showcase-field thriller, while BFD Shout from Italy also came through a universe-point contest against Bristol, Great Britain. With pool play now complete, the Women’s Division turns its attention to the crossover stage, where the route to the Round of 16 will begin to take shape. 

Elsewhere, the Czech Republic’s 3SB won an important all-European matchup against Spice, Great Britain. While results across the day left several teams facing crucial games as the championship moves deeper into the week. Pool play will continue in the Open and Mixed divisions on Tuesday, with qualification positions still to be decided.

Looking Ahead to Day 4

The Women’s Division takes centre stage on Tuesday, with crossover games determining the path into the Round of 16. The top two teams from each pool will meet, with the winners progressing directly to the Round of 16, while the losing teams will have another opportunity to qualify against the winners of the 3-v-4 crossovers. 

Among the games to watch are TOKYO MAVERICKS from Japan vs the Colombian squad Macana and Ellipsis vs Mooncup, Belgium in the 1-v-2 crossovers. BFD Shout vs Scandal from the USA, will also be an important matchup, while the German team Heidees vs Spice and Bristol vs defending champions Revolution, Colombia are among the 3-v-4 crossover games to follow. 

Meanwhile, pool play continues in the Open and Mixed divisions. The Open Division remains particularly close in several pools, with Tuesday’s results set to determine which teams advance and their routes through the championship.

Tuesday’s Free to Watch (FTW) game features Ellipsis vs jinX Midnight, Germany, in the Women’s Division, as the competition moves towards the knockout stage.
