23 July 2012 The PDGA 2012 Disc Golf World Championships came to a close on Saturday, July 21, hosted in Charlotte, NC, USA.  Over one thousand players from 13 countries and 47 states on 14 courses participated.  In the Men’s Open division, Paul “McBeast” McBeth captured his first world title to become the 2012 Disc Golf World Champion, five throws ahead of second place finisher Ricky Wysocki.
