Tomas Burvall appointed to the WFDF Board of Directors as Overall Chair, to serve out the remainder of the term of Jack Cooksey
WFDF is pleased to announce that Tomas Burvall from Sweden has been approved by the WFDF Board of Directors as the new Chair of the Overall Committee, replacing Jack Cooksey (USA) with immediate effect. In serving for the remainder of Cooksey’s term which ends in December 2014, Burvall will also be a member of the Board of Directors until the next regular elections. Cooksey is stepping down due to increased work demands.
WFDF elections 2013 – list of candidates published
The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) today has released the list of the candidates for the 2013 elections. The WFDF members will vote on positions on the Board of Directors and on the Ultimate Committee to serve from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2015. The elections started on 15 November and will run through 15 December 2013, 24:00 hrs UTC.

Overview WFDF is seeking enthusiastic, skilled and committed candidates for its 2013 Elections. Complete nominations must be received by the Nominating Committee by November 7, 2013. The target date for the start of the elections is November 15, 2013, with a targeted end date of December 15, 2013. Results should be announced by December 31, 2013 subject to confirmation of acceptance by elected candidates.
