The WFDF Membership have approved the separation of the U19 Division from the Senior World Championship Ultimate events. Henceforth, the World Junior Ultimate Championships will be held every 2 years, starting in 2012, separate from the senior divisions at World Ultimate Championships.

WFDF seeks a high-energy, self starting, senior level manager to become WFDF”s first full-time Executive Director and to guide and support the work of the WFDF Board, committees and members on both an operational and strategic level. The WFDF World DDC Championships are under way in Phoenix, AZ USA

WFDF Proposal 2010.14 passed making the World Under 23 Ultimate Championship an officially recognized World Title event commencing with the event held in Florence, Italy on July 19th -25th 2010.

WFDF Proposal 2010.10 passed making all WFDF Junior events alcohol free. All players agree in their participant agreement that they will not drink alcohol (or any illicit drugs) while at the tournament. No alcohol may be sold, served or distributed at official tournament venues. Team officials and support staff, WFDF officials and tournament staff may not drink alcohol while on duty or within a tournament venue or official accommodation. No alcohol sponsors at the tournament.

Beach Ultimate has been formally accepted as a Disc Sport by a vote of the membership.
