December 15, 2006 was a historic day for space exploration and for disc players everywhere. European Space Agency to host MTA world record attempt in space
On Friday, December 15th, the European Space Agency is the host of a unique sporting event. Supported by the World Flying Disc Federation, the Swedish Frisbee Sport Federation are proud to sanction this unprecedented event. WFDF 2007 Rules of Ultimate draft available for comment
A draft version of the WFDF 2007 Rules of Ultimate is available for comment. We have set up a forum at http://groups.google.com/group/wfdf-2007-rules for public comment. It is not expected that major changes will make it into the 2007 version at this late stage, but all comments will be taken into account when drafting the 2008 version. The 2007 rules are expected to be approved for release early in the new year.
WFDF invites proposals for 1st Asia Pacific Ultimate Championships
As follow-up to a successful WFDF Asia-Oceanic regional meeting held at the World Ultimate Club Championships in Perth, WFDF is sending out this request for proposals to host the First WFDF Asia Pacific Ultimate Championships (APUC) to be held in the second half of 2007.
WFDF appoints new Executive Director
WFDF would like to announce it’s newly appointed Executive Director, Anne-Marie Carey. She will be taking on the part time position (approximately 20 hours per week) which involves administrative/organizational functions, communications and event management roles with WFDF.

WFDF hosts meeting for Asian and Oceanic region at WUCC
WFDF will be hosting an Asia Region Caucus during the upcoming World Ultimate Club Championship in Perth to bring together organizers from the Asian region. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday the 11th of November, at 20:00 at a place to be announced shortly.
WFDF Board ratifies new WFDF Disc Golf rules
A new set of rules for Disc Golf proposed by the WFDF Disc Golf committee were ratified by the WFDF Board of Directors on October 1st.
