The WFDF Ultimate Committee has released the Club Team eligibility rules which are to be used for teams wishing to play in the WFDF World Ultimate Club Championships 2006 in Perth.

These allocations are offered to National Associations who will then inform WFDF and WUCC2006 of the teams they wish to nominate. World Games Final to be Broadcast

The World Games flying disc ultimate gold medal match between USA and Australia will be aired on CSTV in North America. Enjoy! The game will be re-broadcast on Tuesday, August 30th at 10:30 AM; Thursday, September 1st at 2:00 PM; Friday, September 2nd at 2:00 AM; Wednesday, September 14th at 10:30 AM; and Friday, September 16th at 9:30 PM.

2005 Pan-American Championships Rescheduled

The dates of the Pan-American Championhips in Sao Paulo, Brazil have been moved to December 7 – 11, 2005. This will allow time for more teams to register, and players who are interested can extend their visit and play in the Mundalito Beach tournament taking place December 15 – 18. Marathon Ultimate record broken

The Leeds Jedi Ultimate Frisbee Club has broken the marathon ultimate world record recently. From 9th June to 12th June 2005 (70hrs 19mins total), the group played back-to-back games of ultimate including the final two games in a torrential downpour. They beat the previous record by almost 9 hours and along the way raised over £1000 for charity.

New Guts Hall of Fame inductees announced

The United States Guts Players Association has announced that five new members will be inducted into the International Frisbee Hall of Fame during festivities associated with the 48th International Frisbee Tournament (IFT) in Houghton, Michigan.

World Overalls to be held in San Diego

Following the cancellation of the World Disc Games, the World Overall Championships 2005 have been moved to San Diego and will join with the World Juniors and Masters Championships to be held there at the end of June.

World Juniors goes to Boston

The WFDF Board has approved the New England Ultimate Alliance as the host of the World Junior Ultimate Championships (WJUC) 2006. The tournament is to be held in Devens, just outside Boston, from 13th to 18th of August. The decision is subject to approval by WFDF Congress by July at the latest.
