Wheelchair Ultimate
Wheelchair Ultimate is the first Para Sport discipline developed, and it is a variant of Ultimate. The rules are similar, with modifications for players with physical impairments competing on a flat playing court. Lean more below!
- Technical Rules/Aspects: Please consult the Technical Rules in full.
- Field of Play: Court of 28 m by 15 m
- Game: 40 mins, up to a score of 10
- Team Format/Size: Mixed/Open; 4 Athletes on Court
- Classification Rules/System: Conceptually similar to Wheelchair Rugby (i.e., Sport Class point system). Please consult the Classification Rules in full.
- Eligible Impairments: Physical Impairments impacting the upper and/or lower limbs as per Minimum Impairment Criteria:
- Impaired Muscle Power
- Impaired Passive Range of Movement
- Limb Deficiency and Leg Length Difference
- Coordination Impairments
