Ana Paula Provenza (BEL/BRA)

Chair

Ana Paula Provenza is a Sports Litigation Lawyer with extensive experience in sports ethics, anti-doping, and international arbitration. She currently serves as Chair of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) Ethics Commission and as a member of the International World Games Association (IWGA) Anti-Doping Panel. With over a decade of experience in sports law, Ana Paula has actively contributed to the development of ethical and anti-doping frameworks across international sport. She participated in major global events such as the WADA Symposium (Switzerland), the World Anti-Doping Conference (Katowice), and the UEFA Anti-Doping Symposium (London). Her expertise bridges practical legal work with ethical advocacy in sport. Ana Paula holds advanced specializations in Sports Ethics and Anti-Doping Law from the Universities of Geneva and Neuchâtel, following previous legal studies in Brazil, Canada, and Switzerland. She has served as a Legal Adviser to Expergroup Corporation and previously worked in criminal and administrative law in Brazil. Fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, Ana Paula brings a global perspective to her work. Beyond her professional commitments, she is a passionate athlete—a former Brazilian swimmer national champion and lifelong advocate for integrity in sport.

Holger Preuss (GER)

Holger Preuss is Professor of Sport Economics and Sport Sociology at Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, Germany, is Adjunct Professor at UOttawa, Canada, and serves as International Scholar at the State University of New York (Cortland). His academic work focuses on the socio-economic impacts and legacies of major sporting events, as well as the ethical dimensions in sport management. He was Chair of the supervisory evaluation committee for the social and economic sustainability of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games on behalf of Paris 2024, the IOC, and the OECD. In Germany, he contributed to the development of the National Strategy for Major Sport Events and the reform of the high performance sports for the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Holger is a co-founder of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Sport Ethics and Integrity (MAISI) and co-initiated DAiSI (Doctoral Program in Sport Ethics and Integrity), a network of 17 PhD and 7 international sport partners writing their thesis on ethical challenges in sport. He frequently advises international organizations. He is IOC commission member for "Sustainability and Legacy” and chair of the Ethics Commission of the International Eisstocksport Federation. Robert

Robert “Nob” Rauch was an active Ultimate player from 1976 to 1994 and has been involved in positions of leadership in flying disc (frisbee) sports since 1987. He was the National Director/Executive Director of the Ultimate Players Association (the UPA, now USA Ultimate) from 1988 to 1990 and was chairman of the UPA’s Executive Committee in 1991-1992. He has also served as president of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) from 1992 to 1994 and from 2011 to the present, and as Chair of its Ultimate Committee from 1988 to 1992. As an athlete playing on Ultimate teams in Chicago, Boston, and New York, Rauch won six US National Championships and five World Championships, and he was elected to the Ultimate Hall of Fame in 2006. He also was a contributing author for the book “Ultimate: The First Five Decades” for Volume 1, published in December 2005, and Volume 2 in January 2019. A long-time New Yorker, Rauch retired this year from a 43-year career in finance and investment banking specializing in debt restructurings in global emerging markets and is currently pursuing a PhD in Sport Management from the Deutsche Sport Hochschule Köln in Germany. He received his bachelor’s degree in political economy from Williams College and master’s degree in finance and international business from the Kellogg School of Northwestern University. Rauch is married to former Ultimate player Katie Shields Rauch and has three adult children.

Martin Schnitzer (ITA)

Martin Schnitzer is a Full Professor of Sport Science (Sport Economics) and Head of the Department of Sport Science at the University of Innsbruck, as well as Co-Founder of w/eo, a University Innsbruck spin-off dedicated to sustainable strategies and management in sport and events. His work bridges sport, tourism, and society with a focus on mega events, sustainability, and applied research. Over the years, he has contributed to major international events such as the Torino Olympic Games 2006, the Winter Universiade 2005, UEFA EURO 2008™ in Innsbruck-Tirol, and the Cortina 2019 World Ski Championships bid. Alongside these experiences, he advises organizations in the sports, leisure, and tourism industries and serves as Associate Editor, guest editor, and reviewer for leading scientific journals.

Benoit Seguin (CAN)

Benoit Séguin is a retired professor of sport management at the University of Ottawa and HEC Montréal. He was also a professor and past Director of the MEMOS program (Executive Master in Sport Organisations Management), supported by the International Olympic Committee and Olympic Solidarity. He currently serves as a supervising professor at the International Olympic Academy and is an associate member of the Pôle Sports at HEC Montréal. His research focuses on the marketing of sport events and organizations, particularly sponsorship, brand management, and governance. This work has led to numerous publications, including several books on sport marketing and Olympic marketing. In addition to his academic work, Benoit has held leadership roles with national sport organizations, the Canadian Olympic Committee, and international sport events held in Canada.
