Jonathan Rigby brings over 25 years of experience across international sport, commercial strategy, and brand development. Since 2022, Jonathan has worked as a strategy advisor to CEOs and Boards across a variety of established and emerging sports. His recent projects include advising England Athletics on community and commercial modernization, designing a live-data commercialization strategy for the FIA, leading sponsorship valuation and market engagement for Burghley Horse Trials, and providing marketing support for Sheffield United FC during an ownership transition. From 2020 to 2022, he served as Commercial & Marketing Director for the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships, securing Lidl as headline sponsor and working closely with international, national, and government partners to establish a new multi-discipline global event model. At British Cycling from 2017–2020, he managed the £8m-per-year HSBC UK partnership, delivered major participation and membership growth programs, negotiated broadcast agreements with BBC, ITV, and Eurosport, and launched Britain’s first televised eRacing National Championships. From 2010 to 2015, Jonathan served as Head of Marketing at Manchester United, overseeing more than 45 global partners including Chevrolet, Adidas, Nike, Aon, DHL, Pepsi, and Unilever, more than doubling the club’s commercial revenue. He began his career in the advertising and creative industries with firms such as Interpublic and AMV BBDO, building a foundation in brand strategy, partnerships, and audience engagement. He has a BA (Hons) in Marketing from the University of Stirling and currently lives with his family near Manchester in the UK.

Karina Woldt (AUS)
Managing Director Events and Operations
Karina has served as the Managing Director, Events and Operations for WFDF since 2014, managing 6-12 events a year of upwards of 3,500 athletes per event. She has been involved with professional sporting teams and major events management over 25 years, getting her start in both Australia and New Zealand. Before taking time to start her family, she served as the senior event services director for the FISA World Rowing Championships from 2008 to 2010 in Karapiro, New Zealand. From 2006 to 2008 she was Director of Operations of Elephant Management Co. Ltd. V8 Supercars, an event with over 182,000 spectators over three days. From 1999 to 2006, she was involved in a variety of events, including the Subaru Rally Team of Australia (Motorsport), Canberra Cannons (Basketball) and Canberra Raiders (Rugby League). Karina has significant experience on all aspects of event issues like accommodation and transportation, registration, and all other organizational aspects of World class events. A natural born English speaker, Karina is also fluent in German and lives in northern Germany.

Andrew Portwine (CAN)
Event Manager
Andrew is a seasoned sport administrator, coach, and community leader with over 15 years of experience shaping the landscape of flying disc sports in Canada and internationally. Deeply committed to equity, youth development, and community engagement, Andrew has held leadership roles across multiple levels of the sport—from grassroots to the world stage. He currently serves as an Event Coordinator with the World Flying Disc Federation and holds a board position with Ultimate Canada, where he also served as President from 2020 to 2024. His extensive contributions include directing national and international championships, sitting on key committees (such as the Hall of Fame and Competition Committees), and supporting athlete development through coaching and team selection roles. Andrew’s leadership has also impacted regional organizations such as Ontario Ultimate and the Waterloo Organization of Disc Sports, where he has served as President, Executive Director, and Competition Director. His international experience includes coaching Team Canada to a bronze medal at the 2023 World Beach Ultimate Championships and contributing as a commentator and sport ambassador in Canada, France, Uganda, and First Nations communities within Canada. An ultimate player since 1997 and coach since 2010, Andrew brings passion, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit to every project he undertakes. Whether he's mentoring athletes, directing major tournaments, or advancing sport development initiatives, Andrew remains dedicated to building inclusive and sustainable sport communities.

Dinko Šimenc (CRO)
Event Manager
Dinko Šimenc is an experienced event manager with a passion for Flying Disc, with proven results in managing international Disc Golf tournaments. He has been an active disc golfer since 2011, winning the Croatian Disc Golf Championships in 2013 and 2017, representing Croatia as a player on the national disc golf team at the WFDF World Team Disc Golf Championship in 2017, 2019, and 2024, and having competed at 230 PDGA tournaments. He has also founded the Ultimate club Vertigo that competed in several local events in 2013 and 2014. Dinko founded Lagoda Disc Golf in 2012, and served as the Tournament Director of the WFDF 2017 WTDGC, the PDGA European DGC 2018, and 125 other PDGA-sanctioned events. He has also served as President of the Croatian Flying Disc Federation since 2023. His professional career provides him with a background in tourism-related activities, team-building programs, and large-scale events, including seven years with the Croatian Culinary Federation as office manager. Dinko is based in Varaždin, Croatia and works from his event office with a team of assistants. In addition to his native Croatian, he is fluent in English, Slovenian and Serbian, and has a basic conversational proficiency in German, and French.

Director of Membership Services and Sport Development
Dillon Richardson has served as Director of Membership Services and Sport Development beginning in 2024.
With experience at national and international sport federations as well as organizing committees, Dillon is familiar with supporting diverse membership and stakeholders, as well as developing grassroots, development, and high performance programming.
Through his time at World Para Powerlifting, Dillon helped raise standards, increase access to information, improve member expertise, and impact more participants. Some initiatives he launched include “She Can Lift”: Women in Para Powerlifting Programme, Lift Video Educational Database (LiftED) and the Learning Hub. World Para Powerlifting’s initiatives were recognized, winning awards from the International Paralympic Committee and British Council.
He has recreational experience in flying disc, playing ultimate and disc golf through different league programs.
Dillon holds a Masters Degree from the University of Windsor in Human Kinetics-Sport Management and graduated from Nipissing University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Physical and Health Education.

Oleksandra Boliak (UKR)
Administrator & Office Manager
Oleksandra joined WFDF in 2024.
She has been involved as a project manager and coordinator of dozens of projects and sports events in the framework of European Week of Sport and Erasmus+ Sport programs funded by the European Union (EU). During 2020-2022, Oleksandra worked as a specialist in the development of non-Olympic sports at the Sports Committee of Ukraine, in particular, as an organizer of the Ukrainian Beach
Games and Ukrainian Student Games. She has a long history of volunteering and involvement in major events in Ukraine and Europe like National Fitness Day, #BEACTIVE DAY, European Badminton Championships, ActiveForum and European Sports School Day.
She currently works and lives in Germany.

Pablo Naya (ESP)
Communications & Social Media Manager
Pablo Naya Punzano has been part of the flying disc community for over a decade. With more than 10 years of experience as an Ultimate player, Pablo has developed a deep connection to the sport, one that extends beyond the field. Today, he is most passionate about capturing the essence of ultimate through his work as a photographer and videographer. He has collaborated with the Spanish Flying Disc Federation (FEDV), covering national-level events and helping to visually document the growth and energy of the sport across Spain, and with WFDF covering WUC 2024 in Gold Coast, Australia and WU24s 2025 in Logroño, Spain. Through this work, Pablo has built a reputation for portraying the spirit, intensity, and emotion of ultimate with authenticity. Driven by the desire to combine his two greatest passions, ultimate and visual storytelling, Pablo uses his lens to amplify visibility, support community initiatives, and celebrate the moments that define flying disc. Through creative content, he aims to inspire new audiences and contribute to the sport’s continued growth, one frame at a time. Pablo had worked as a quality control and lab technician for six years before turning full-time to his free-lance photography work in 2024. He received a master’s degree in quality, safety and food technology from the University of Zaragoza in 2017 and bachelor’s degree in science and technology of food from the University of Zaragoza in 2016. He is a native Spanish speaker and is also proficient in English and French.

Timothy Rockwood (USA)

Tim Rockwood was a competitive Ultimate player from 1976 to 1982, as a founding member of the Middlebury Pranksters (Vermont) and co-founder of EARTH Ultimate (New York City). Since October 2015, he has served as WFDF’s Managing Director of Broadcasting and Marketing and Executive Producer of the 2016 WUGC (London), 2017 WCBU (Royan, France), 2018 WUCC (Cincinnati), and 2019 WU24 (Heidelberg) tournaments. As a network sports television and documentary film producer and executive, Tim earned senior production credits at ABC Sports (1984 Winter and Summer Olympics), ESPN, and Turner Broadcasting (Goodwill Games, NBA Basketball, IAAF and USA track and field). In addition, Rockwood was Acting Director of the Discovery Health Channel, Senior Editorial Producer of Ted Turner Documentaries, Executive Producer of 2011 Official Sundance selection The Last Mountain, about mountaintop removal coal mining in West Virginia, and producer of documentary films including A Motherland Tour, about maternal health, HIV/AIDS, and malaria in Africa, How I Got Over, a story of 15 previously homeless, incarcerated, drug-addicted women who use theatrical role playing as rehabilitation therapy, and co-executive producer of FLATBALL – A History of Ultimate. He is a Political Science and German graduate of Middlebury College.

Marco Tomasini (ITA)
Director of NOC Relations
Marco joined WFDF in 2018 and was appointed Director of NOC Relations in 2024.
He has played a key role in the development of flying disc sports, founding the Malta Flying Disc Association, the Monaco Urban Sport Federation, and the Mediterranean Flying Disc Confederation, serving as its first Secretary General, while also securing the recognition of flying disc within the Italian NOC and NPC through his work with FIGeST. Marco currently serves as a Board Member of TAFISA and has held leadership positions across several international sport organizations, focusing on the promotion of traditional, inclusive, and emerging sports. His extensive experience in international sport governance and collaboration with National Olympic Committees directly supports his role in managing and enhancing WFDF’s NOC relations.
Marco is based in Italy.

Deborah Gray (USA)

Deborah has served as Bookkeeper for WFDF since 2016. She retired in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer after 12 years with the US Olympic Committee NGB of USA Table Tennis. She was introduced to USA Ultimate as their interim accountant for several months in 2015. Prior to moving to Colorado in 1999, Deborah owned an accounting practice in San Francisco for 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting Specialist degree from the University of San Francisco.

Luke started playing Ultimate in 2003 and has struggled to stop playing since then! He has founded a number of teams in the UK and worked as a coach and team manager with youth teams, club teams and national teams over the years. He has represented both Great Britain and Poland, as well as numerous club teams, on the international stage on both grass & beach. He continues to play Ultimate primarily in the Masters Division. Since 2008 he has been ever increasingly involved in tournament organisation hosting over 30 tournaments in the last decade ranging from founding the London Indoor League to hosting WFDF 2015 World U24 World Championships. He has worked in every conceivable volunteer role at major ultimate events, culminating in volunteering in the capacity of WFDF Technical Tournament Director. Luke is currently working hard as the Competition Director preparing for the WUGC 2020/21 in Leeuwarden. As an IT Professional Luke has worked primarily in the education industry for the last 12 years and is currently the IT Manager of the St Albans Independent College. In recent years he has started consulting with a variety of small to medium sized organisations on how best to leverage Information Technology to meet their aims. Luke is fluent in English and Polish, as well as some French & German. He is a Philosophy graduate of Lancaster University and currently splits his time between St Albans, UK & Darmstadt, Germany.

Daniel Roddick (USA)

WFDF administrator since 1986
Dan "Stork" Roddick is a long-time disc sport champion and organizer in both the U.S. and internationally. Stork was an early star of the game of Ultimate with college champion Rutgers University (with a record of 45-1), and he was a winner of national and world championships in individual events including disc golf, freestyle, and accuracy.
Stork was one of the driving forces behind promoting and supporting Ultimate and all other disc sports through his role as head of Wham-O’s sports marketing department from 1975-96, ensuring sufficient financial support for the organizing bodies in the USA early in their existence. Stork was also was instrumental in the international arena, serving as World Flying Disc Federation President from 1986-1992, Chair of the WFDF Rules and Individual Events Committees from 1993-2004, and as secretary and executive director from 1998-2003. He continues in his role as Director for Special Projects for the PDGA. An Eagle Scout in his youth, Stork has written numerous articles and books on disc sports, and he is credited with framing Ultimate’s defining "Spirit of the Game" philosophy which has guided play since the late 1970s. He has been inducted into the Frisbee, Disc Golf, Freestyle, and Ultimate Halls of Fame. Outside of his disc sports career, he served as a college lecturer in sociology and as a writer and consultant. Stork received his PhD in sociology from Rutgers University and is a long-time resident of Pasadena, CA.
