Alessandro Somaini is a para sport coach, educator, and active athlete with over 20 years of involvement in Flying Disc sports at club and national levels. He has competed in European and World Championships with Italian national teams and is currently active as a player in multiple adaptive sport disciplines.

A certified Flying Disc and Paralympic Instructor, Alessandro is closely involved in the development of Wheelchair Ultimate, contributing to athlete pathways, coach education, and the expansion of inclusive Flying Disc opportunities in collaboration with national and international stakeholders.

Alongside his sporting activity, Alessandro has a background in science education and environmental studies, with experience designing and delivering inclusive educational programs for schools and communities.

He brings a multidisciplinary, development-oriented approach to para sport, with a strong focus on accessibility, long-term athlete development, and the sustainable growth of Flying Disc disciplines worldwide.
