Dinko Šimenc is an experienced event manager with a passion for Flying Disc, with proven results in managing international Disc Golf tournaments. He has been an active disc golfer since 2011, winning the Croatian Disc Golf Championships in 2013 and 2017, representing Croatia as a player on the national disc golf team at the WFDF World Team Disc Golf Championship in 2017, 2019, and 2024, and having competed at 230 PDGA tournaments. He has also founded the Ultimate club Vertigo that competed in several local events in 2013 and 2014. Dinko founded Lagoda Disc Golf in 2012, and served as the Tournament Director of the WFDF 2017 WTDGC, the PDGA European DGC 2018, and 125 other PDGA-sanctioned events. He has also served as President of the Croatian Flying Disc Federation since 2023. His professional career provides him with a background in tourism-related activities, team-building programs, and large-scale events, including seven years with the Croatian Culinary Federation as office manager. Dinko is based in Varaždin, Croatia and works from his event office with a team of assistants. In addition to his native Croatian, he is fluent in English, Slovenian and Serbian, and has basic conversational proficiency in German, and French.
