Committee member: 2011–present
Karen Cabrera started playing Beach Ultimate in 2005. A couple of years later, in 2007, she found herself a seat on the Beach Ultimate Committee with BULA, which later transitioned to the WFDF Beach Ultimate Committee in 2011. In 2016, she was elected Chair, serving until 2019. Her work involved evaluating venues for Asian and World Championships and assisting in the selection process for WFDF Beach Ultimate grants.

Domestically, Karen is the current President of the Philippine Flying Disc Association; a player and team manager of the Boracay Dragons; Tournament Director of the annual Boracay Open Tournament; and regularly runs clinics around the country and organizes local and international tournaments.
