Koen started playing ultimate in 2008 and has been a member of the WFDF Ultimate Rules Sub-Committee since 2013. He got involved in this committee by always wondering what the goal is of a specific rule in the game of Ultimate. That, and being the go-to guy for rules questions in his team and even in the Belgian Federation. As a key player for Jetset (Leuven, Belgium) and several Belgian National Teams, he watched the sport blossom from a niche passion into a structured and inclusive community. Koen continues to advocate for clarity and fairness in the rules, helping shape the game for future generations.
