Leena began playing Ultimate in 2009 and joined the WFDF Ultimate Rules Subcommittee in 2016. Leena became involved in the Rules Subcommittee because she believes “Rules Knowledge and Use” is the cornerstone of a well-spirited game of Ultimate – and that good Rules are the cornerstone of good use of Rules.
As a player (and Coach) Leena is mainly based in Vienna, playing with Wunderteam and Mantis as well as different national selections over the last decade.
She firmly believes that the closet the “Spirit of the Rules” and the “Word of the Rules” match, the easier it is to comprehend and use the Rules efficiently and correctly.
