Paul started practicing Ultimate, Freestyle, Disc Golf, and other disc disciplines in Belgium in 1983. The first World Championship he took part in was in Gothenburg (Sweden) in 1983, and from there he participated in several tournaments, often as captain, at National, European, and World Championships (beach and grass) in France, Switzerland, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Canada. At WUGC 2008 in Vancouver (CAN), he won the SOTG award with the Italian Masters National Team.
In terms of Disc Sports administration, in 2000 he created and coached the first Tuscan team (which won one Italian title) and helped in the creation of the second one.
