Steve Baker (he/him) has 40 years of experience in Flying Disc sports as a player, administrator, coach, and game support. He began playing Ultimate in 1984 and competed in the Australian Flying Disc Championships from 1985 to 1992. Since returning to the sport in 1998, he has held various administrative roles for the Western Australian Flying Disc Association, including President, Treasurer, and Youth Development Officer. He has been the current Chair of the Asia Flying Disc Federation’s Spirit of the Game Committee since 2019 and the Game Support Manager for the Australian Flying Disc Association.

Steve was the captain of the Australian Ultimate Team at the 1988 World Ultimate and Guts Championships and competed again in 1990. Steve has competed at various WFDF World Championship and Club Championship events from 2006 to 2024. In 2015, he trained to become a Game Advisor and has since officiated as a Game Advisor at most Australian National events. Steve has been a Game Advisor Trainer since 2019. He has also held roles at various international events as an Organizing Committee Member and a Timekeeper/Scorekeeper Trainer.
