Translations of the SOTG Scoring Explanation Sheet released

The WFDF Spirit of the Game Ultimate Sub-Committee has released the translations of the Spirit of the Game Scoring Explanation Sheet in German, French, Polish and Chinese language. The SOTG Ultimate Sub-Committee wishes to thank the following persons for their support with the translations: Christophe Bihin and Jean-François Cadoret for French, Nick Liu for Chinese, Sylwester for the German, Wiktoria Maruszczak for the Polish translation. Women`s Masters Division to be held during WUGC 2012 in Sakai, Japan

The World Flying Disc Federation is pleased to confirm that a Women`s Masters Division will be played during the WFDF World Ultimate and Guts Championships 2012 in Sakai, Japan, taking place from 7-14 July 2012. The foundation meeting of the Asia Flying Disc Federation (AFDF) as the continental association of WFDF for Asia took place on 3 December 2011 in Kaohsiung on the occasion of WFDF Asia Oceanic Ultimate Championship (AOUC) 2011. Explanation of the Spirit of the Game scoring sheet

The WFDF Spirit of the Game (SOTG) committee has developed a document listing the objectives of the WFDF/BULA SOTG scoring sheet (available in 27 languages) and how, by following guidelines, players ensure these objectives can be achieved. The document gives guidance to tournament and league directors on how to ensure good SOTG practices are followed on and off the field. The document is currently available for download in English and Spanish. More languages to follow.

Ultimate Peace led a program in late November with a team of American and Israeli coaches in the city of Medellin, Colombia in advance of the 2011 WFDF PanAmerican Ultimate Championship in the city of Medellin, Colombia. USA Wins Five of Six Divisions at World Championships of Beach Ultimate

The USA came away with the gold medal in five of the six divisions of the 2011 World Championships of Beach Ultimate, a week-long event finishing Saturday 27 August and held in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy.
