WUCC UPDATE – Sunday games are postponed due to flooding
With the additional rain Saturday morning, many of the fields at the main venue were still flooded as of Saturday evening. WFDF and the tournament organizers have decided that all games on Sunday are canceled. This decision was taken because, even if the standing water had receded by morning, if we had tried to play, the fields would have trashed for the rest of the week as they remained water-soaked. The WFDF 2014 World Ultimate Club Championships 2014 will be held in Lecco, Italy, from 2 to 9 August 2014. The WFDF 2014 World Junior Championships 2014 have come to an end. Canada (Open) and USA (Women`s) have crowned their performances with the World Junior Championships titles. In the Open final on Saturday at the Lecco City stadium Canada beat USA by a close 17-16. In the Women`s division USA had won before over Canada by a 17-9 score.
