US Open Individual Overall Results
The results are in for the US OPEN Overall Tournament from Lancaster, PA. WFDF World Titles on the line were for Self Caught Flight and Discathon.
WFDF Bylaws Task Force completes it work with proposal for revised Bylaws
Attached is the proposed revision to the Bylaws of WFDF prepared by the WFDF Bylaws Revision Task Force. We encourage all WFDF members to review this draft as we will seek your approval of it at Congress in Vancouver to replace the current version of the Bylaws, which went into effect in 2001.
WFDF World Ultimate Club Championships 2010 Bidders Announced
WFDF is pleased to have received three bids to host WUCC 2010. Bid packages were received from Brasilia, Brazil; Nottingham, UK; and Prague, Czech Republic. WFDF will present the winning bid during the World Ultimate & Guts Championships running August 2-9th in Vancouver, BC, Canada. WFDF is also currently seeking hosts for the 2009 PanAm Ultimate Championships, the 2009 Asia Oceanic Ultimate Championship, and the 2010 World Junior Ultimate Championship. Japan Wins Gold at WFDF Asia-Oceanic Ultimate Championships
The 1st ever WFDF Asia-Oceanic Ultimate Championships were held from December 7-9, 2007 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Japan continued to display their dominance in recent WFDF events winning the tournament 15-11 over Australia. The host team from Chinese Taipei rounded out the top three, taking bronze with a 15-13 win over Philippines. More information will be posted shortly.
